Biography of Charlotte Kiep

Charlotte Kiep matriculated at the University in 1903 to study a course on Italian Literature.

She was born at Gdańsk, Poland, then Danzig, Germany, daughter of Franz Napoleon Rottenburg, a merchant. Kiep was the wife of Johann Nicolaus Kiep, the Imperial Consul at Glasgow, who also attended the University.
