Biography of August Frederick Palmer Beck

August Frederick Palmer Beck matriculated at the University in 1908, aged 21. He took classes over two years in Mathematics, Naval Architecture, Drawing, Engineering III and IV.

He was born in Denmark, son of Frederick Joseph, a farmer.

After studying at the University in 1910, Beck appears to have immigrated to the USA, where he became a US citizen in 1918 resident of Los Angeles, California.
