Biography of Malcolm Lamont
Malcolm Lamont enrolled at the University for two years in 1924. He was born at Boston, Massachusetts, on 16 September 1904, and baptised at Prince Edward Island, Canada on 10 May 1905. His father was Reverend Murdoch Lamont, a Minister of the Church of Scotland, who also studied at the University of Glasgow.
Lamont joined his brothers, Ewen and William Dawson, at the University of Glasgow, where he studied Scottish Law in 1924-25, and Accountancy in 1926-27.
