David Kerr Jamaica Guyana

Biography of David Kerr

David Kerr matriculated at the University during the summer session of 1903, taking a Chemistry Laboratory class.

Kerr was born in Falmouth, Jamaica, son of William Louis, a sugar planter. His brother, Henry, matriculated at the University in 1911.

Kerr died at British Guiana (modern day Guyana) on 3 October 1904, aged only 20.
