Biography of Humphrey Ewing Crum Ewing
Humphrey Ewing Crum Ewing matriculated as an Arts student at the University in 1852, the forth generation to do so. He was the youngest son of his namesake, the Scottish Liberal politician, chairman of the West Indian Association of Glasgow and director of the Colonial Company of London.
Crum Ewing jnr died at Better Hope Estate, Demerara on 12 March 1878.
