Biography of David Aird
David Aird matriculated at the University in 1792. He was the second son of John, formerly a medical doctor in Antigua.
Aird was Snell exhibitioner in 1794, although expelled from Oxford for a riot on 24 June 1795. He became a student of King's College, Aberdeen from 1795-98, and graduated MD from Edinburgh in 1805.
