Biography of Adolph Robert Hanns Geyer

Adolph Robert Hanns Geyer graduated from the University of Glasgow with an MB in 1914.

The eldest son of Adolph Hanns Geyer, Minister of the German Protestant Church in South Woodside Road, Kelvinbridge, Adolph Robert Hanns first matriculated at the University in 1905, aged 18, to study medicine.

In his first session at the University, the summer of 1905, he enrolled in classes in Botany, Botany Laboratory, and Physics, and in session 1905-1906 he enrolled in Zoology and Chemistry. He graduated MB in 1914, at the outbreak of the First World War.

Adolph Robert Hanns went on to serve with the Army Medical Service in the First World War.

After the war, Adolph Robert Hanns returned to the UK where he worked as a medical practitioner.
