Biography of Dharam Bir Mehta
Dharam Bir Mehta graduated BSc from the University in 1933.
Mehta was born in Sialkot, India, modern day Punjab province of Pakistan, son of Ladha Ram Mehta, a civil servant. He resided in Faisalabad, formerly known as Lyallpur, Pakistan.
Mehta obtained a BA from Punjab University before enrolling at the University of Glasgow in 1929. Over the course of five years he took classes in Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Mechanics, Geology, Physics, and Civil Engineering. He graduated BSc in Civil Engineering on 4 November 1933, and also received a certificate of proficiency.
