Biography of Andrew Simpson

Andrew Simpson attended the University in 1811, matriculating in the Greek class. He was born at Evandale, St Quivox, son of Andrew Simpson, a teacher. He was brother of Glasgow graduate John Simpson, MD 1826, and student, John Simpson.

Simpson died at Demerara in 1820.
