Biography of John Melville Christie

John Melville Christie graduated MA from the University in 1937. He was born at Blantyre, Nyasaland, modern day Malawi, son of John, a manufacturer's agent.

Christie enrolled at the University in 1932, taking classes in French, German, English, and Political Economy, graduating MA in 1937 with honours in French and German.
