Biography of Elizabeth Margaret Stuart
Elizabeth Margaret Stuart graduated MA from the University in 1931. She was born at Ekwendeni, Nyasaland, daughter of the Reverend Charles Stuart, a missionary.
Stuart enrolled at the University in 1927 citing her hometown as Oban. She attended classes in French and English (1927-28); higher English, History, Scottish History and Literature (1928-29); Moral Philosophy and Geography (1929-30); higher Geography and Scottish History (1930-31); and finally honours Geography (1931-32).
Stuart followed as career in teaching, giving her home address as Old North Manse, Bankfoot, Perthshire.
