Biography of Barbara McLeod Hunter
Barbara McLeod Hunter was born at Gala, Zomba, Nyasaland, daughter of John, a tobacco and cotton planter.
Hunter enrolled at the University of Glasgow in 1926 for two years, taking classes in History, French, Constitutional Law and History, and Political Education.
She married James Muir Grieve MBChB DMRE, at Glasgow on 31 March 1930.
