Biography of Kenneth MacLeod MacKenzie

Kenneth MacLeod MacKenzie grated MA from the University in 1929. He was born at Livingstonia, Nyasaland, son of the Reverend Duncan MacKenzie, who temporarily returned to the UK for First World War service in 1914.

Mackenzie resided in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, when he enrolled at the University of Glasgow in 1924, aged 18. Over five years, Mackenzie took classes in English, Latin, Mathematics, Moral Philosophy, English Literature and Language both to honours level, and Education. Upon graduation in 1929, MacKenzie went into advertising.
