Biography of Mairi Isabel Nyasa Livingstone

Mairi Isabel Nyasa Livingstone was born at Blantyre, Nyasaland, modern day Malawi, daughter of William Jervis Livingstone, manager of the Magomero Estate who was killed in 1915 during the Chilembwe uprising against colonial rule.

Livingstone enrolled at the University in 1951, aged 41, for one year to study Systematic Theology.
