Biography of Leslie Vickers
Leslie Vickers graduated MA from the University of Glasgow in 1910. He was born in Young, New South Wales in 1886, son of George William Vickers, a landowner.
Vickers graduated BA from the University of Sydney in 1908, and the same year enrolled at the University of Glasgow. Over two years he took classes in Logic, Honours History and Political Economy, and was among the proxime accesserunt in the latter subject in session 1909-1910.
Vickers continued with his study in the USA, submitting a doctoral thesis at Columbia University on The Arbitration Court in Australia in 1911.
