Biography of John Alfred Calascione

John Alfred Calascione graduated MA from the University in 1952.

He was born in 1929 in Sliema, Malta, son of Anthony, a company director, who during the Second World War rose to the rank of Major of The King's Own Malta Regiment.

Calascione attended St Edward's College, a boarding school in Malta, and in 1948 he enrolled at the University of Glasgow. Over the course of four years, he took classes in English, History, Italian, Logic, Astronomy and Political Economy. After graduation in 1952, Calascione worked as an administrator. He died in 2012 in Taunton, England.
