Biography of Pier Guido Basso
Pier Guido Basso matriculated at the University in 1911 to study Science and Engineering. He was born in La Spezia, Italy, son of Carlo Basso, a Captain in the Italian Royal Navy, and brother of student Luigi Basso.
During his one-year course at the University, Basso studied Natural Philosophy under Professor Andrew Gray and took junior classes in Naval Architecture.
