Biography of Albert Nahum Apple
Albert Nahum Apple enrolled at the University of Glasgow in 1915, aged 18.
He was born in Kovno, Russia, modern day Kaunas, Lithuania, son of Morris Apple, an exporter. Apple was a British citizen, but at the time of enrollment in 1915 resided in Alival North, Cape Province, South Africa. He studied in the Science Faculty taking classes in Maths, Chemistry and Natural Philosophy.
