Biography of Maurice Goldin
Maurice Goldin graduated MBChB from the University in 1937. He was born in Frankfurt am Main around 1913, son of Harry, a tailor.
Goldin enrolled at the University of Glasgow in 1932, aged 19, to study Medicine and Surgery. During his five years of study, Goldin received £20 from the Carnegie Trust and another £20 from the Education Authority Trust. In 1934, he received a First Class Certificate in Clinical Surgery under Professor Archibald Young.
