Biography of Rae Murison
After studying Engineering for five years at the University of Glasgow, Rae Murison graduated with a BSc in 1930. He began his studies enrolling in classes such as Natural Philosophy, Mathematics, and Chemistry, and specialised in Electrical and Heat Engineering.
Rae was born on 24 April, 1907 in Seattle, Washington. His younger sisters, Margaret Helen Rae and Jessie Rae also came to study at the University of Glasgow; as Arts students from 1928 to 1933.
Rae's father Andrew, a lumberer, died while Rae was at University. Upon graduation, Rae continued to live in Glasgow and work in the field of engineering.
