Biography of Christine Barbara Maria Morrison

Christine Barbara Maria Morrison (née Mayer) graduated BSc in Chemistry from the University in 1946. She was born in Warsaw, Poland, daughter of Stefan Mayer, an Officer in the Polish Army.

Mayer enrolled at the University in 1942, around the same time as another daughter of a Polish Army Officer, Maria Kolasa, both of them studying Chemistry. Mayer took classes in Geology, Botany, Natural Philosophy, Mathematics, Advanced Inorganic Chemistry, Advanced Physical Chemistry and Honors Chemistry, graduating on 12 January 1946.
