Biography of Peter Melville
Peter Melville graduated MA from the University in 1865 and BD in 1869.
Born at Stanley, New Brunswick, Canada, Melville served as a Parish Missionary at Rothesay in 1869; a Parish Assistant at Fredericton, New Brunswick (1870-71); Parish Minister at Grangetown, Prince Edward Island (1872-75); Colony Minister at New Kincardine, New Brunswick (1876-79); Parish Minister at Stanley and Maskwaak, New Brunswick (1879-81); Parish Minister at St Columba, Hopewell, Nova Scotia (1881-91); and Parish Minister of Rendall, Orkney from 1892.
