Biography of Robert McCunn

Reverand Robert McCunn graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BA in 1856 and an MA in 1857.

Robert McCunn was born in Greenoch, Scotland, between 1837 and 1839. He was educated at the University of Glasgow, graduating in 1856 with a BA, and in 1857 with an MA.

In September 1863, Robert was appointed by the Glasgow Colonial Society to River John, Nova Scotia. He was made Minister of St George's Church, River John, in connection with the Church of Scotland. He was also was Moderator of the 1867 Synod of the Presbyterian Church of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

St George's Church eventually joined the Presbyterian Church in Canada in 1894, and Reverand McCunn died shortly afterwards, on the 28th of February, 1895.
