Biography of Thomas Blackadder Gilchrist

Thomas Blackadder Gilchrist graduated with a MB CM in 1893 and MD in 1896. Gilchrist worked as a surgeon in South Africa, travelling between there and the UK with his wife Mary Catherine. In 1923 he worked as the Director of the Medical and Health Department of Mauritious. In 1935 Gilchrist was employed with Mackinnon Mackenzie & Co, Bombay, India.
