Biography of Iain Alasdair McMillan Beaton

Iain Alasdair McMillan Beaton was born in Glasgow and studied at the University, graduating BSc (1934),MB, ChB (1937) and DPH (1941).

He was a house surgeon at Glasgow Royal Infirmary before becoming Gynaecologist and House Physician at the city's Western Infirmary.

He joined the Indian Medical Service and died in what is now Pakistan on 9 January 1942.
