Biography of Anthony Marucheau

Anthony Marucheu matriculated at the University in 1831 to study an Arts course. He was born in 1815 on the island of St Lucia, son of Pierre Marucheau, owner of sugar plantations Retraite and Black Bay.

Marucheu died in 1855.

Marucheau's brothers, Clermont and Jules, matriculated at the University in 1830 and 1837 respectively, with Jules graduating MD from the university in 1844.
